What You're Actually Getting

We're talking real deal hypoxic training zones that simulate anywhere from sea level to 18,000 feet. Your body adapts like you've been training in the Rockies, but you're right here in Vancouver. Red blood cell production goes up, VO2 max improves - it's not magic, it's just science doing its thing. Plus you get to brag about "altitude training" without actually freezing your butt off on a mountain.

Our trainers aren't just some weekend-certified folks reading off a script. These are people who've competed, coached athletes to podiums, and honestly just geek out about movement and performance. They'll call you out when you're slacking but they'll also remember your PR from three months ago. It's that personal touch that makes the difference between showing up and actually progressing.

We measure stuff that actually matters - not just vanity metrics. Heart rate variability, power output, recovery times, altitude adaptation markers. Everything syncs to your phone so you can see where you're crushing it and where you need work. It's kinda addictive watching those numbers improve week over week, not gonna lie.

Yeah, we get it - you can't always make it during "normal" hours. Work runs late, kids have practice, life happens. That's why we're open round the clock. Wanna train at 5am before the chaos starts? Cool. Need to blow off steam at 11pm? We got you. Your membership, your schedule.

Our nutritional consultations aren't about putting you on some crazy restrictive diet. It's more like "hey, here's how to fuel for what you're trying to accomplish." We work with what you actually like eating and your real lifestyle. No shame, no judgment - just practical advice that doesn't require meal prepping your entire existence on Sunday.

Look, we're not gonna force you into awkward team-building exercises. But somehow the people who train here end up becoming friends naturally. Maybe it's suffering through HIIT together, maybe it's the shared goal of getting stronger - whatever it is, it works. You'll find your people here, and they'll push you harder than you'd push yourself.

Questions People Actually Ask

Straight answers, no runaround

Yeah, you can upgrade anytime - we'll just prorate the difference. Downgrading works too but you gotta wait till your current billing cycle ends. If you need to cancel, month-to-month folks can bounce with 30 days notice. If you prepaid for 6 or 12 months, we can't refund that but we'll pause your membership if you've got a legit reason (injury, moving away, etc). Just be straight with us.

Nope, not at all. We start everyone with a baseline assessment and ease you into it. The altitude zones are adjustable, so you might start at 5,000 feet equivalent while someone else is crushing it at 14,000. Your body adapts at its own pace. We've got complete newbies and Olympic-level athletes here - everyone starts somewhere.

They're 60-minute one-on-one sessions with our certified coaches. You can use 'em however you want - technique work, program design, accountability check-ins, whatever helps you most. They don't expire as long as your membership's active, so if you miss a month you're not losing them. And yeah, you can buy extra sessions if you need more - we do package deals.

Classes run throughout the day - HIIT, Olympic lifting, endurance work, mobility stuff. You book through our app (or just show up if there's space). Base Camp members get 6 classes per month, Summit Seekers get unlimited, Elite obviously gets unlimited too. Classes are capped at 12 people so you actually get attention from the coach. We drop the schedule monthly so you can plan ahead.

First month is just your membership fee - no initiation BS. After that it's month-to-month billing on whatever day you signed up. The only extras are if you want add-on services like extra PT sessions, supplements from our shop, or special workshops. Everything that comes with your membership tier is included, period. No surprise charges showing up on your card.

For sure. Everyone gets one free trial session to see if it's their vibe. After that, Summit Seeker members get 2 guest passes monthly, Elite members get unlimited. Guest passes are good for a full day of access. If your buddy ends up joining, we'll hook you up with a free month - our way of saying thanks for spreading the word.

We work with injuries all the time - just let us know what's going on. Our coaches can modify pretty much anything, and we've got relationships with physios in the area if you need that level of care. Some people actually find altitude training helps with recovery because of the increased circulation and adaptation response. But yeah, clear any major stuff with your doctor first - we're good but we're not miracle workers.

We're right on West Pender downtown, so transit's super easy - buses and SkyTrain nearby. There's underground parking in the building ($12/day or $150/month if you want a pass). Street parking's hit or miss depending on time of day. Honestly most folks either transit in or bike - we've got secure bike storage and showers if that's your thing.
